Boswelya Plus contains the standardized extract of Boswellia serrata, which supports a healthy inflammatory response and may also improve the biochemical structure of cartilage by encouraging blood supply to joint tissue, thereby also increasing comfort. Other herbs, such as Zingiber officinale (ginger), Withania somnifera, and Curcuma longa, have long been used in Ayurveda for the maintenance of cyclooxygenase (COX)-2 enzyme activity, and to provide support for prostaglandin, leukotriene, and thromboxane metabolism.

Curcumin is also considered supportive for the maintenance of healthy inflammatory responses due to its regulation of nitric-oxide release. Boswelya Plus also contains glucosamine sulphate and chondroitin, for healthy joints through nutritional support and encouragement of the generation of connective tissue, and bromelain, for its support for healthy inflammatory responses.
